What grooming products do you use?

At Brushed Doodles, I use only high-quality, professional grooming products that are safe, gentle, and specially selected for your doodle’s unique coat and skin needs.

My go-to product is (Nature's Specialties) Plum Silky Shampoo & Aloe Re-moisturizing Conditioner being the main product. We also carry tearless for puppies!

For pups with sensitive skin or specific needs, I offer premium upgrades:

  • 🌿 Neem Shampoo – great for itchy or irritated skin

  • 🐾 Hypoallergenic Shampoo – gentle for allergy-prone pups

  • 🧼 De-shedding Shampoo/Conditioner -helps reduce shedding and boost coat health

Upgrade options available for a small additional charge.

Do you offer grooming for other breeds?

At Brushed Doodles, I specialize in doodle breeds, but I am happy to provide grooming services for other friendly dogs, too! Because I operate out of a cozy, home-based salon, I do not have the equipment or staffing needed to safely groom dogs with known aggressive tendencies. This helps me maintain a peaceful environment and ensures every pup can enjoy a positive, low-stress experience while in my care.

How often should my doodle be groomed?

Doodles should typically be groomed every 6 to 8 weeks to keep their coat healthy, clean, and mat-free.

The frequency of grooming depends on your doodle's coat type and lifestyle. 

Curly/Wool Coat (Poodle-like) Every 4–6 weeks

Wavy Coat (Fleece-like) Every 6–8 weeks

Straight Coat (Hair-like) Every 8–10 weeks
